Orders for January, February and March have already exceeded first-quarter budgets and given us an excellent start to 2019. Since the acquisition by Zampell, fibre module production has been operating at full capacity to meet growing demand from across the UK and overseas.
Manufacturing ramp-up and planned investment
To support sustained high volumes we have planned targeted investment at our Staffordshire manufacturing facility during 2019. Upgrades include a bespoke bandsaw and new hydraulic presses. These additions will increase throughput and improve consistency, ensuring we meet delivery schedules without compromising quality.
Skilled people and growing capability
We have supplemented our experienced workforce with new trainees to strengthen long-term capacity. This mix of seasoned operatives and new talent helps maintain high production standards while building the next generation of skilled craftspeople.
National and international distribution
Our manufactured fibre modules are already in use across the UK, from Carlisle to Cornwall. We have also received new orders from international customers, including projects in Israel and Egypt. Zampell’s in-house transport fleet and approved logistics partners help us deliver reliably, even for urgent or overseas consignments.
Supplying our own installation teams
Zampell Ltd. manufactures ceramic fibre modules, not only for customers but also for our own installation teams. This integrated supply and install approach improves quality control, reduces lead times and simplifies site logistics for projects across the country.
Current project activity
Recent and ongoing projects include:
- Supply and installation of a new pusher furnace ceramic fibre lining.
- Repairs to electric elements and gas-fired furnaces.
- Supply and installation of bespoke linings for thermal oxidisers, incinerators and hot-bypass ducting.
- Supervision and installation support for fibre module works in France, Egypt and North America.
