What we do
Zampell delivers complete turnkey refractory packages, from consultancy and design through to manufacture, installation and maintenance. Our experience spans a wide range of sectors, including:

- Iron and steel forging and heat treatment
- Petrochemical and chemical processing
We combine technical design capability, in-house manufacture and skilled installation teams to provide customers with practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.
Group capabilities and partnerships
Working alongside Vulcan Refractories, our sister company, Zampell can provide bespoke and confidential manufacture of refractory products. Vulcan also produces ceramic infra-red and quartz heaters and has developed patented formulations such as ZEROX for advanced tile performance. This partnership gives our clients access to both stocked standard products and fully bespoke systems or one-off tile replacements.
People, skills and training
Our workforce and site supervisors are central to our success. Management and supervision typically have a minimum of 25 years’ experience in refractory industries, and we invest continuously in skills development to prepare the next generation of supervisors and contract managers. Our training programmes focus on safe working practices, technical competence and career progression for employees.
