On 30 September 2018 CobbLloyd became part of Zampell. This change brings CobbLloyd’s long-standing UK expertise into the global Zampell group. The merger strengthens our capacity to deliver installation and engineering services across the refractories industry. As Zampell UK we now offer extended resources, broader manufacturing capability and faster technical support for our clients.
What this means for CobbLloyd clients
Clients now gain direct access to Zampell UK’s wider capabilities. We combine local installation teams with group-level manufacture and product support. This lets us supply bespoke tiles, precast shapes and emergency repair kits faster. We also provide full supply-and-install packages and supervised installations. Practical changes you will see
You should have received a letter outlining the change some weeks ago. We have updated stationery and contact details to reflect the new name. Van liveries, site signage and workwear are also being updated. These visual changes will roll out across our operations over the coming weeks.
